The Results Are In!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the second edition of Money Chronicles: A Story Initiative, the national short story contest supported by Principal Foundation, The Center for Fiction and Short Edition. This contest is designed to encourage conversations around money and personal finances. This year again, the authors were invited to share short works of fiction or creative nonfiction, and to introduce characters facing challenges or pursuing desires as it relates to money.
We received so many incredible stories that reflected lived experiences with money. It has been a joy and privilege reading them over the last month. Selecting the finalists and a winner was a difficult task, which is a testament to the exceptional quality of the submissions we received. Once again, we thank you for your commendable work!
And now... we're thrilled to announce this year's winner and our 19 finalists. Congratulations to the following authors!
