Your Two Eyes

Sent up to look out,
Taking shots of the moons.
Yet not without,
A self-loving swoon.

Spent billions of dollars,
And years' worth of time.
And, surprising the scholars,
Inflated its mind.

This relates to,
Me and you,
The whole entire world
Surrounding you.

And in spite of all this,
The whole world amiss.
A small piece of steel.
Focus on that, not what you feel.

You block out the noise,
And shut both your eyes.
To care about you,
And shut both your eyes.

Sent out to discover
And, to your demise,
You blocked out the world,
With your two eyes.
