Heard about this ‘Long Story Short' award
Decided I'll try it regardless whether or not I get a reward
I thought I'd give it a shot
By making something on the spot
Not gonna lie , typing a poem while at the gym is pretty hard
But this opportunity sounds way too good to discard
not gonna lie , I'm sweating and it's hot
but it's not stopping me from making this on the spot
running while coming up with rhymes
as as if I don't do things harder than this all the time
You'd think these are rhymes made by an AI or a bot
bur it's something I made on the spot
If I don't get the award, that's fine
i just hope of all the readers, at-least one likes mine
and I'm sure the readers will have to go through alot
but how many others have made theirs on the spot?
from taking rests
to trying my best
to submitting this the latest
To possibly having a poem that could be the most hated
it doesn't matter, I tried to do what others could not
and that's writing this poem on the spot
you can make a poem about anything
from drugs
to hugs
Even pugs
as ridiculous as it seems , you can think of rhymes, then connect the dots
just like I'm doing, on the spot
