Manny Blacksher grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He went far away---to Montreal, to Dublin, to Pittsburgh . . . Now he lives and works in Birmingham, Alabama, where he writes, edits, and mentors. He really enjoys the things that delight him, and he's developing a constructive attitude about the things that bother him. He remains a member of the Horror Writers' Association.
