You can make a choice
In the moment you have no qualms about it
Just for a second
It's clear
In that moment, you don't have to think

It's a good idea
In fact, it's the best idea you ever had
The only one that makes sense
Brain running solely on doses of adrenaline
Ears shut off
Silencing other people's advice
In that moment
However long that moment may be
Heart remains uneasy
The question is yes or no
The answer varies
It sits in your mind
Festering
Locked and loaded
For the next time you are uncertain about life
