Mountain Top Days

The weather is perfect.
Things fall in line.
Every hair is in place
And we’re dancing in time
To jovial tunes
That whisk us away
To places much grander
Than we’ve been today.

Our spirits soar high,
Our worries sink low.
We’re up on a summit
And just can’t let go
Of the joy that we’re feeling,
So we let it all out
And tell those below
With an awfully big shout.

And when we go down,
After a while,
We’ll remember our time
On the mountain and smile.
For we know what it’s like
To be living on top!
And we won’t soon forget,
No, we won’t let it stop.
