New Year, Same Goal!

What better way to connect with fellow students from around the globe than through writing? To hear thousands of voices in all their glorious diversity and to give your creativity the platform it deserves?

The contest is now closed. Starting October 8th, Short Édition invited students from all participating universities to submit their short stories of 7,500 characters or fewer for our annual inter-university contest, the Long Story Short Award 2024.

To participate, students were invited to imagine a story based on the theme:

« Once in a blue moon »

This poetic idiom evokes rare and enchanting moments, those occasions when the unexpected comes to life. Whether it’s a fleeting miracle, an impossible coincidence, or a chance encounter that changes everything, “Once in a Blue Moon” invites you to explore the magic of the unexpected. This theme, full of wonder and mystery, opens the door to a world where extraordinary things happen… but only once in a while.

Through this contest, whether you win a prize or not, your work will be published online alongside those of fellow students from campuses worldwide, creating a bridge between thousands of students around the world. In addition, Short Édition will be considering all submissions for international publication in their 500+ Dispensers worldwide.
