New Year, Same Goal!
What better way to connect with fellow students from around the globe than through writing? To hear thousands of voices in all their glorious diversity and to give your creativity the platform it deserves?
Starting October 8th, Short Édition invites students from all participating universities to submit their short stories of 7,500 characters or less for our annual inter-university contest, the Long Story Short Award 2024.
To participate, students are invited to imagine a story based on the theme:
« Once in a blue moon »
This poetic idiom evokes rare and enchanting moments, those occasions when the unexpected comes to life. Whether it’s a fleeting miracle, an impossible coincidence, or a chance encounter that changes everything, “Once in a Blue Moon” invites you to explore the magic of the unexpected. This theme, full of wonder and mystery, opens the door to a world where extraordinary things happen… but only once in a while.
Through this contest, we aim to provide a platform — both online and in our Short Story Dispensers — to share your stories. Your work will be published alongside those of fellow students from campuses worldwide, creating a bridge between thousands of students and fostering a global literary community.
