Chris Parkinson

Born in Manchester in the North West of England, Chris Parkinson is a writer and poet. He has travelled extensively throughout Europe and South East Asia and lived in Thailand for a number of years. Home is now a small village in Hertfordshire, north of London, where he can often be found sitting behind a desk in his garden office, staring out into space. Very occasionally, he picks up a pen and writes something.

Chris studied Creative Writing at the Open University and has written a number of short stories and poems. He draws from personal experience in his writing, apart from when his characters have to meet with an unfortunate end, as they often do, in which case he tends to rely on his imagination.

Chris is married and he and his wife are the servants of a rescue dog and a feral cat.
