Jo Newman is a twenty-something Yamatji writer, born and raised on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja in Perth, Western Australia. They studied Environmental Biology and Professional Writing and Publishing at uni, and switched into Creative Writing for their Honours. Jo mostly writes memoir and science fiction, and particularly likes exploring themes of human relationships with technology.
