Tears

Another reads what their lover has written,
As a train passes by,
Leaving tears on a page.
One has lost another,
And that's all that's left.

Tears on a page.
An insignificant slip,
A few insignificant words,
Leaving tears on a page.
One has lost another,
And that's all that's left.
Tears on a page.

An insignificant girl walks in front of an insignificant train before it can stop,
Because of an insignificant slip,
With a few insignificant words,
Leaving insignificant tears on a page.
One has lost another,
And that's all that's left.

Tears on a page.

A few insignificant words,
written by an insignificant lover is all it takes to push someone over the edge.

Like that insignificant girl,
Who walked in front of an insignificant train,
Leaving tears on a page.
One has lost another,
And that's all that's left.
Tears on a page.
