She came to me, in my waking dreams;
in my own haven, of woods and streams.
She whispered of the love, between a woman and man;
and looked at me, I could barely stand.
This angel and creature, of such warmth and light;
brought perspective so, all wrong would right.
I knelt before, and offered her a part;
of all I could, my broken hurting heart.
She took it and bid me stand;
"I'll keep this and value it, above jewels or land."
I'm with her now, my beautiful angel;
defying all, darkness and evil.
You'll find us in a haven, with woods and streams;
walking with the other, upon my waking dreams.
