From Greek Row to College Park Center, stories are constantly unfolding. @UTA stories happen in the moment the buzzer sounds on the basketball court, in the thoughtful silence of the classroom, during late nights spent laughing with close friends, and in the quiet walk across campus to your morning class. One place can be the backdrop for many different stories. We want to read yours.

What fictional story will you create on the UTA campus?

UT Arlington Libraries invites all students and faculty to participate in a creative writing contest from March 11th to April 15th.
Submissions must be short stories of less than 8,000 characters, spaces included, and take place on the UTA campus.

Let your imagination run and explore the never-ending possibilities of fictional characters, lives, and worlds existing amongst us @UTA.

The UTA Editorial Team will select one juried winner, and the public will also vote for their favorite stories in order to designate one public winner. Both winners will be honored with a feature on the UTA Libraries website highlighting the stories and their names will be included on a plaque in the Academic Plaza. In addition, both winners and other selected stories will be published in the Short Story Dispenser on campus.
